Tweedles

Doodling has always helped me to focus, to figure out where my thoughts are, and to really just get out any kind of pent-up emotion in me.

Apparently, I'm happier than I thought I was lately, because I doodled a rather cheery Tweedledee or Tweedledum today (I'm leaning towards Dee). He looks a bit like the love child of Uncle Fester and an Italian gondolier, but I don't care. He made me smile today.
As this movie progresses and I become more and more entrenched in my work, I am sure that my blog will languish, dusty and neglected. Though I'm only up to about 60 - 70 hour weeks, it hurts a bit more this time around. I guess I'm getting older and not able to soldier through those 100 hour weeks like I used to be able to.

I hope there will still be cooking and drawing and blogging in the months to come.
