Ginger

Ginger is a short-haired miniature dachshund, or a "badger dog." She was born in the June of 1994 and is still a chipper, energetic little girl, even after having had litters of puppies.

She loves playing with the cat, Nabi, but Nabi only tolerates Ginger in small doses. Nabi's also much bigger than Ginger, and can pretty much leap four feet straight in the air when Ginger sneaks up on her.

Ginger holds a special place in my heart- she was a constant all through my junior high and high school years, and she's the best dog in the world.

"Are you going to give me a treat? Give me a treat! I need a treat! Treat?? Treat!"

"I will stand up on my hind legs and look at you with my puppy-dog eyes. You cannot resist!"

"Yum, treat. Totally worth it."

She's eating a Canine Carry-Out, which is made by Del Monte (http://www.delmonte.com/brands/).

They're kind of soft and chewy, which I think she likes more than the hard treats that you can usual find for dogs.

Ginger likes the chicken and salmon flavors. Hope you can find them!
